Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty is a military sci-fi video game created by Blizzard Entertainment. The game is a sequel the mega hit game Starcraft from 1998. The sequel has been 12 years in the making. Starcraft 2 was released this on July 27, 2010 and over 1 million copies were sold on the first day. Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. on September 1st said that StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty™ sold over 3 million copies worldwide in the first month of its release making it the bestselling PC game of 2010 and the fastest-selling real-time strategy game ever.
